Tetra Functional Poly-Epichlorohydrin is used in the synthesis of hydroxyl-terminated glycidyl azide polymer (GAP). This polymer finds use in cast-cured ‘polymer-bonded explosive’ as well as cast-cured composite propellants and in gas generating compositions.
